It’s fabulous to see all the television coverage and magazine photos about what the stars wore for the Golden Globes. The dresses are fab and the jewelry is amazing. Just as important is the make-up the stars wore that makes them look so fabulous!!
BeautyNewsLA was able to track down a couple of make-up artists who were kind enough to share what they used on specific clients!!
Celeb make-up artist Nick Barose is known for his elegant yet glam make-up applications. His clients for Golden Globes included Mischa Barton and Jessica Biel.

MISCHA BARTON
Nick used a variety of great products from Victoria’s Secret Beauty. Eyes were defined with Dash Me a Line Pencil in Black Velvet ($10); then colored with the Defining Luxury Gel Eye Liner in Silver Sea ($11). He applied Aura Science Intensify Mascara in Blackest Black ($15) to her eyes.

Lips were done with a hot new product by Victoria’s Secret Beauty called Very Voluptuous Lip Plumper ($18) for a luscious pout.
He dusted her face (lightly) with the Sunny Cheeks Mosaic Bronzer and her shoulders, décolletage and arms with Dream Dust Loose Shimmer Powder in Gold Dust ($18).
JESSICA BIEL
For Jessica Biel, Nick tweaked the look slightly to go with Biel’s dress. Barose used the Aura Science Line Lip Pencil in Sugar Plum ($15) to outline and fill her lips. Again the Very Voluptuous Lip Plumper ($18) was applied to her lips to heighten the plummy lip pencil.
Continuing that same purple theme, Barose used Seductive Eyes Mosaic Eyeshadow in Mosaic Violet ($16.50) and Dash Me a Line Eye Pencil in Blackberry ($10).
Lashes were done with two coats of Aura Science Intensify Mascara in Blackest Black ($15)
Olivia Chantecaille spent a lot of time at the Golden Globes as part of a suite at the Four Seasons Hotel for InStyle Magazine. “The look for the Golden Globes was feminine and pretty with a soft definition around the eyes and a delicate color on the lips,” said Chantecaille. “I saw subtle elegant makeup without heavy formality. Eyes were barely lined in black and lips were tinted with a deep blush fringing on a transparent red.”
Chantecaille products were used on the celebrities who came through the suite and were on several celeb faces at the Golden Globes Awards, including Keira Knightly and Emily Mortimer. Make-up artist Kate Lee used the following products on both actresses:
Bio Lift Concealer
Les Sorbets Lip Glosses
Les Delices Lip Glosses
Compact Soleil Bronzers
Assorted eye shadows are from various collections including Les Papillions and some new spring items (Want to know which ones? Check out the Chantecaille Spring “˜06 Launch piece!).
The look was finished off with Chantecaille Mascara with that fabulous rose scent.

From the Giorgio Armani + Biolage suite at L’Ermitage, Armani’s Tim Quinn used the Armani Midnight Lip Shimmer 2 on many who attended the suite including Anne Heche, Sarah Wynter, and Michelle Trachtenberg. The Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers ““ particularly shades #2 and #11 – were favorites to provide that healthy glowing complexion.
Sue Devitt Studio is no stranger to the red carpet and Sue Devitt was quite busy working on various celebrities. Working with Diane Kruger for the 63rd Annual Golden Globes, Devitt worked around Kruger’s glamorous, vintage-inspired aubergine velvet Lanvin gown and phenomenal hair clips. Kruger starred in the French film Joyeux Noelwhich was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.

Devitt created a smoky eye in sable and purple tones with a silky not-quite-neutral lip. Starting with Triple C-Weed Whipped Foundation in Tanami, Loose Powder, Automatic Camouflage in the same shade, and finishing with Bermuda Triangle for the under eye area.

Devitt then used Cap Ferrat to highlight along the brow bone with Monaco and Storybook Cave on the lid (both Silky Matte Shadows). She added Hopetown shadow along the lashline wet (Studio Electric Sheen Shadow) with Zaire Eye Intensifier Pencil between the lashes.

Going for the extra glam look, Devitt applied three coats of Hong Kong Water Resistant Mascara.
For that fresh glow, Sue used Katherine and Belize Silky Blush to the apples of the cheeks which brightens up the face.

For that gorgeous lip without being “over the top” glossy, Devitt applied Villefranche Lipstick blended with Costa del Sol and St. Moritz Lip Gloss.
