Fall aims to be quite the season for Avon, with Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon recently named Global Ambassador and legendary fashion designer, Cynthia Rowley on board with a limited edition assortment of captivating color products designed to bring the runway to everyday. Creatively dubbed the Cynthia Rowley for Avon Fall 2007 Color Collection, the partnership marks the first time in Avon’s century long business that the company has enlisted a fashion designer to create a collection.
The Cynthia Rowley for Avon Fall 2007 Color Collection is best described using the same words that peg the designer’s fun and flattering frocks”“ pretty, fun and feminine. For Rowley’s Fall 2007 fashion collection, she was inspired by the layering of color, similar to that of a prism. Using rich, traditional materials like brocade and quilted fabrics with clean, modern silhouettes, this look was translated into color products with the expertise of Avon’s Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey. The two worked together to create a collection that is sultry yet playful, with rich tones and pops of icy silver, charcoal and champagne golds.
The collection includes Cynthia Rowley for Avon Finishing Powder, an illuminatingAll-Over Face Powder, a Blush Stick, Eyeshadow Quads in Plum Orchid and Very Violet, Lipstick, Lipgloss and Nail Enamel in Peony Pink, Rose Petals, Very Violet and Plum Orchid and an ultra limited edition Brush Set with Floral Embossed Clutch.
