To anyone who wants a home with aromas worthy of guest’s envy and discussion, I have found the answer: Seda France. The fabulous folks at Seda France have managed to create intoxicating scents that have the power to rejuvenate and relax your senses. Seda France, a name synonymous with luxurious home products, offers candles, home diffusers, room sprays, soaps and travel tins.
Seda France markets their products as gifts that do not need to be wrapped, and rightfully so. Each candle comes packaged in a pagoda-shaped box with a gold tassel on top. The French toile packaging is reminiscent of the 200-year old tradition in France. Inspired by the French countryside, the toile prints blend perfectly with the Asian flared pagoda boxes. It is the eclectic vibe that gives Seda France’s line a worldly, royal feel. And with names like Russian Peony and Parisian Orchard, how are we expected to resist?
Seda France candles are hand-poured using the finest fragrance oils. The quality of the oil is important because it controls how the candle burns, as well as the fragrance it omits. The higher quality oils create a stronger, more intoxicating aroma that lingers for hours.
Seda France’s website could not be more user-friendly. For those of us who are unsure what type of fragrances, or notes (as they call them in the perfume world) we like, the website becomes your new best friend. It breaks the dominant notes down telling you which candles have the appropriate notes. I was quite surprised to learn I gravitated towards rhubarb and sweet tobacco.

Japanese Quince, a scent made famous by the likes of Oprah and famed party planner Colin Cowie, is my new found obsession. An intoxicating mixture of rhubarb, passion fruit, white fleshed peach, and white jasmine petals, makes it a perfect blend for a relaxing evening at home.
Lis Blanc is another one of my favorites. Not only does it come packaged in an ocean blue and pastel pink box, but the fragrance is not too feminine. Lis Blanc is appropriate for any room in your house. It has an amazing mixture of notes including jasmine, violet, geranium, citrusy bergamot, mint and tea leaves, and smells of rosewood, marine and sweet tobacco. Within ten minutes the sent will travel across your room and can be burned at any hour.
Seda France candles are a true indulgence. Make it a priority to purchase one of these amazing candles and bring it home to burn the week away in style! www.sedafrance.com
