The tail end of 2005 must have been fraught with more than just holiday buying and selling for those at the online fragrance retailer, Luckyscent.com. While the people behind this faboo site were working their virtual scents off online; they were also working their real-time, real bodies and minds getting ready to launch their newest creation”” Scent Bar ( 8327 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, 90048 ““between Crescent Heights and La Cienega on the north side of the street. 324.782.8300).

Having been to Scent Bar just as it was launched in early December, it got a lot of street traffic just walking in without advertising. It’s a small store but the spare, low-key décor gives the fragrances the room to expand and it’s just a fun place to hang. I managed to sell someone a Susanne Lang set and another fragrance was on her list to come back and get. Definitely stop by the store and check it out. It’s going to be a “must-see” store just east of the Beverly Center!
