A museum dedicated solely to the art of fragrance? I think I may have just died and gone to heaven. The Annette Green Perfume Museum opened its doors on October 17 with the inaugural exhibit, Fashion Makes Scents.
Showing from October 17 through December 2, 2006, Fashion Makes Scents is a spectacular show of over 1,600 perfume bottles from collector Annette Green’s personal collection. The Museum at the FIDM Museum & Galleries unveiled the new exhibition space in conjunction with a showcase of companion fashion pieces from the FIDM Permanent Collection.

The Annette Green Perfume Museum’s “Fashion Makes Scents” exhibit runs through Dec. 2 at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, 919 S. Grand Ave., (213) 624-1200 or www.fidm.com.
