Scent has the power to transport us, and master of American style and jet set glamour, Michael Kors, does just that with his new Island Michael Kors Fiji fragrance. Through his latest aromatic concoction, he channels his fascination with the exotic island destination of Fiji. And although it is one of the few places he has not yet visited, he seems to have a very clear idea of what kind of heavenly fragrances inhabit the magical island.
An avid traveler, Michael used his olfactory experiences in various locales such as Maui, Capri, and Hong Kong, to inspire the full bodied scent. Fiji draws inspiration from the original Island fragrance, which embodies the lush blue Caribbean.
Alluring top notes create a fresh, invigorating blend of Polynesian waters with hints of citrus and kiwi, mango mist and cactus pear. Pungent honeysuckle and parrot tulip mingle with a robust heart that reveals the rich scent of the native Fijian tiare flower. An abundant bouquet of Ginger lily, Bulgarian rose, Stephanotis, and Plumeria blend to add the promise of seductive femininity.
While the base has an earthy essence of driftwood, Birch, rice field accord, and soothing White Bark.
Harnessing the true carefree spirit of Fiji, each bottle contains Fiji Water, the natural artesian water bottled in the virgin island ecosystem.
Island Michael Kors Fiji will be available beginning in April at Saks Fifth Avenue and www.saks.com.
