Indie Scent Darling

One such fragrance line is Fresh Scents Terri. Founder Terri Weitzman had grown tired of what the fragrance world had to offer and began mixing her own scents at home. After numerous compliments on how amazing she smelled and inquiries into what perfume she was wearing, she decided to start her own business.

With a line of cheeky fragrances dubbed Breathe, Oh Baby, Zoe, Dream, and My Lulu and three shimmer sprays, Tangerine Kiss, Peachy Keen, and Berry Cute, Terri makes each scent feel like it was custom blended. Refreshing is the adorable yet alluring artwork that adorns each bottle. Think old school tattoo art- sexy pinup girls surrounded by hearts, stars and a scroll holding the fragrance’s name.

My picks from the line for summer are the delicate shimmer sprays. Fresh and fruity, tangerine kiss is an exotic concoction of cucumber, lime, sweet watermelon, and tangerine. Not overpowering, it is light enough for even the hottest of summer days when you just want a touch of fragrance. Subtle bronze shimmer particles are mixed with the scent, imparting a sexy sparkle on your skin. Crazy about tangerines but don’t like shimmer? Tangerine Kiss is also available as a non-shimmer spray.

I am hooked on the shimmer sprays. With Peachy Keen, a yummy blend of vanilla crème and peach and Berry Cute, a mix of blackberry and vanilla crème, these are too delicious and gorgeous to pass up. So, bravo Terri! Fresh Scents truly captures the indie spirit through fragrance.
