As summer approaches, short skirts, flirty tops and peep-toe pumps are everywhere. But, when it comes to hair, there are a wide variety of summer styles to choose from. The trends for this year range from blunt bobs to long loose waves to super straight silky strands.
The most popular cuts and styles this beach season are:
Classic bob (with optional sun-kissed highlights)

This cut and color works especially well on square or diamond face shapes. Styling a bob often requires a smoothing shine serum and flat iron. Maintenance: Low to Medium.
Long loose waves

This cut and style works well on most face shapes but can be especially flattering for heart shaped or round faces. The style requires little more than a curling crème and some time to air dry the hair. The upkeep is mainly related to trims every four to six weeks. Maintenance: Low.

And finally, if you want to head to the beach without bothering to style your hair at all, consider a low loose braid or classic headband. Both can be cute, fun and perfectly summer suitable.
