I miss “Sex in the City.” There, I admit it. I am long past the Sunday night withdrawal and have moved on to once and a while perusing the celeb magazine pages to find out what my posse of gals are up to. I always take a special interest in what Carrie (Oops! I mean Sarah Jessica Parker) is wearing or watching on the runways. Her style sense has always been one I admire. So I was interested to find out that she, along with Kate Walsh (a member of my new Sunday-night steady, “Grey’s Anatomy”Â), would be shopping in cyberspace and gravitating toward some goodies at Sleepheads.com, a site for assorted sleepwear and casual clothes (plus much, much more) for women, men, kids, and babies.
This cozy online destination has a roster of products that range from trendy PJs, lingerie, tees and tanks slippers, robes and spa wraps, flip-flops, bath and body treats, handbags and accessories, among other things. In SJP’s basket? Reportedly, assorted Havianna flip-flops in green, lavender, and floral (see photo above for an example), a Yoga Gal mat, the Kashwere® fluffy cashmere-like merlot robe and some Kashwere® Komfy Kids robes for her little one. Kate Walsh apparently favors the 50′s Cocktail Social Pajamas for her evenings in. And Virginia Madsen, currently starring with the handsome Harrison Ford in “Firewall”, picked out a Kashwere® robe creation as well.
So what’s so great about these products? Comfort, quality, and a lot of cool styles to choose from. The collection consists of a number of lines, many of which have graced the pages of some major magazines, such as People and Life & Style, and hit the airwaves on tv shows such as “The View” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” And now we’re taking notice and trying them out. The orange Haviana Floral flip-flops we got were comfy and simply chic enough for any Cali gal on the go. With a price point of $14.96, they can’t be beat.
What’s great about Sleepheads.com is that the site selections are broken down by category, which makes it easy to navigate and know where to go. There’s a section on great gift ideas and a wonderful warehouse blowout sale section that’s pretty super. Cruise and resort necessities are offered too. The What a Girl Wants category is especially cool for offering options such as For the Bride, Shoe Girl, and Yoga Girl
