Family Fun at the Treehouse
By Amy Spagnola

The Treehouse Social Club concept is the epitome of, ‘Why didn’t I think of that?’ A massive hybrid of daycare, spa, activity center, restaurant, party place and a shopping center, it’s an all-in-one stop for the busy modern mom. Located on South Robertson Boulevard in L.A., it allows parents to buy memberships for their children to try a monkey-mentality and have access to Open Play, which entitles them reign of the “magical treehouse,” an arts and crafts room and a computer center.
The Treehouse which debuted on Mother’s Day of this year is a full-time play center. It prides itself on making a community for tots and moms to learn and socialize. The fun family outlet is not only perfect for lots of monkey business but it’s also a great place for kids to enroll in a variety of unique and interactive classes. There are classes that involve storytelling, art workshops, animal appreciation and even yoga.
But if you want your kids to do more moving and less meditating, the Club also offers a variety of party packages. All the parties are set up on weekends and every purchased party comes with balloons, face painting, arts and crafts, food and invitations. Specialty party additions include: spa services, flowers, karaoke, and entertainers, among other things. Party themes can include anything from pirates to princesses.
Perhaps one of the most satisfying parts of the treehouse for the ultra-busy parent is the spa. The Club offers a range of services that include waxing, massages, facials and nail care. Imagine a deep tissue massage while your mini-me is making new friends, having the time of their life and creating a mess outside your home. This Treehouse could be renamed, Heaven!
