Oopsy Daisy Baby is this season's must-wear label for any little girl who loves to twirl. Oopsy Daisy Baby designer Daphne Henderson created a delightful line of "Girly Girl Couture" that takes little girls from whimsical to fashion forward.
The line launched with pettiskirts but then stirred up attention with vintage heirloom-worthy dresses and bloomers. Made with multiple layers of soft nylon and chiffon, the Oopsy Daisy Baby pettiskirts are far sweeter than any others we've seen in LA. Tiny embellishments such as satin polka dot ribbons and cherry blossom appliqués take these skirts to another level that celeb moms such as Courteney Cox, Denise Richards and Marcia Cross adore.
Carried over from summer and still wearable through a west coast winter are the Oopsy Daisy Baby Rosettes tanks and tees. Although designed to go with the pettiskirts, hip little city girls are loving them with jeans or khakis. Julianne Moore's daughter Liv was seen in Cookie magazine recently wearing the raspberry tank and is a fan of the vintage chenille dresses.
Winter Wonderland is Oospy Daisy Baby's limited edition collection for the holiday '07 season, including dresses, bloomers and pantaloons made from vintage 1920's ivory satin chenille.
With so many tailored mini-me children's styles out there, we love how youthful this collection is and that it doesn't take itself too seriously. Look out for more of her colorful ribbon-tie chenilles on shelves this spring "“ as well as peasant dresses and infant gowns. www.oopsydaisybaby.com.
