If you’re not familiar with the Lucy Sykes line, you may recognize her twin sister’s name, Plum Sykes, author of the best-selling novel Bergdorf Blondes. An eye for fashion most definitely runs in the family of this UK born designer. Lucy has worked for several publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Allure, and Vogue. She joined Marie Claire in 1999 as a Senior Fashion Editor and was soon promoted to the prestigious position of Fashion Director. After the birth of her son, Lucy took this life change as inspiration to create her sophisticated children’s clothing line, which launched in the Spring of 2005.

The Spring 2007 collection includes bohemian-inspired dresses, jackets, and trousers, and her new line of footwear, in which she’s partnered with Stride Rite to create.
