BNLA caught up with Stuart Meche, one of the founders of the company, to get the lowdown on this new line to know.
BN: What was the inspiration behind the creation of your new line EnshiÂ®?
SM: My wife/business partner, JaAn Scofield, and I have been in the beauty industry for a combined time of over 25 years. We have both worked for leading product manufacturers and were really disappointed in the decline of quality in products and customer service. So we decided to make it our mission to take our existing knowledge of the beauty industry and product development to focus on an environmentally sensitive/revolutionary product that is supported with a phenomenal customer service team and available online 24 hours a day.
BN: What ingredients do you think are most important to include for maintaining healthy skin and hair?
SM: Approximately 96 percent of EnshiÂ® products contain lavender and geranium. Our research found these two essential oils to be the most healing and conditioning of all natural oils. Thinking beyond these specific ingredients, we wanted to incorporate many organically resourced ingredients to develop a skin, hair, spa, and candle line that is 95 percent naturally derived. This way, our customer is able to receive the maximum benefits of all the essential oils no matter what their skin or hair type.
BN: What are some tips you can provide our readers for maintaining healthy skin and hair?
SM: Maintaining healthy skin and hair is essential in today’s world. EnshiÂ® incorporates naturally derived essential oils, such as geranium, vitamin E, and aloe vera to help moisturize and balance the Ph of skin. The products do not contain petroleum-based oils or surfactants. Petroleum isn’t 100 percent absorbed and only masks areas dry or damaged, thus leaving a false sense of hydration or repair. Moreover, some of these types of ingredients are known to be cancerous. EnshiÂ® formulas are 100% absorbed and are virtually weightless on the face and many of the hair products. We provide consumers with a product that penetrates further in the skin or hair shaft, and successfully completes the job that it is designed to do without harmful synthetics drying out and weighing skin and hair down.
BN: What best describes your philosophy for the line?
SM: EnshiÂ® ‘s philosophy is creating top-notch products from natural and organic ingredients that are available online 24 hours a day.
