Skincare Quartet: Four ‘Must Haves’ from Eva Ein

By C S

When I packed my suitcase and headed for Aruba, I faced a dilemma that I’m sure many of you have as well: how many skincare products does one take? Too many leaves too little room for souvenirs on the way back. Too few and you give ample opportunity for the sun and elements to wreak havoc on your skin.

I decided to pack four products from Eva Ein: the CLEAN Gentle Deep Cleanser ($26), the DAY Absolute Moisture ($38), the NIGHT Nightime AHA Moisture ($46) and the Everything Eye Gel ($34). I remember the first time I used the CLEAN Cleanser; its hydrating properties did not leave my face dry at all—just perfectly clean. My skin felt as soft as a baby’s and the cleanser reminded me of some of my all-time favorite products, like Purpose and Pears soap. It also contains some powerful vitamins: A,C, E and B5.

The DAY moisturizer was good for my skin on the sunny island, and it helped prevent damage from free radicals (it contains SPF 15). The NIGHT moisture is plumped with water-binding ingredients and contains 6% alpha hydroxy solution, so my skin felt rested and repaired in the morning.

My favorite product in the quartet was the Eye Gel. Dark circles and I are best friends forever, and I have tried virtually every product on the market to get rid of this embarrassment. But Eva Ein’s Gel worked! It reduced the puffiness and soothed the under-eye area so quickly that I was amazed that I had not purchased this inexpensive cosmetic buddy before.
