It is with full awareness that this story is placed in the Spa section. We know it isn’t a spa per se, but we feel it warrants the same excitement one would feel when discovering a previously untapped therapeutic hot spot. It is with hesitance that we write about this however, as we’ve been burned before: Bringing readers our finds can make our laissez-faire style of last minute appointment-making difficult.

But, in the spirit of all that “take one for the team” hoohah our trainers are always preaching, we bring you: Camille Harris.

Harris is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist who maintains a studio in a quaint Santa Monica bungalow. Back to the One, as her card reads, embodies her practice without flaw. She works with clients mentally and physically to find their core, and work through what might be blocking one’s path.

From discussion to deep tissue massage to acupuncture, Harris works with clients through injury, stress and life. She is honest. She is authentic. And most of all, she’s actually restorative. We love her no-BS attitude.

The bungalow is private and unpretentious – A small studio just beyond a white picked fence. Yet somehow when you leave, it’s as if you just returned from a 5-star hotel vacation. Maybe there is something to that “white picked fence” fantasy after all…
