The name might sound like an eatery spawned from Wolfgang Puck, but in fact Spa-Go’s, an untraditional upscale on-the-go spa, offers pampering as opposed to pizza. An innovative traveling beauty “bandwagon,” Spa-Go’s serves the Los Angeles area exclusively and offers mobile massage, facials, waxing and even hair services. The best part of the “any site” spa is that a facial can be performed at a hotel, highlights at home or even a bikini wax at the office. Imagine the water cooler gossip!
Spa-Go’s performs its services like any other spa. Employees are all licensed professionals who care enough to bring luxury linens to your specified location. They offer day packages and gift certificates, not to mention, pet massage and pampering.
In fact, Spa-Go’s has as many services, if not more so, than your average day spa. Also on the menu of services are hair extensions, Reiki, Japanese Shiatsu, a Grandma’s Garden massage including home baked cookies (seriously), African tribal massage, hair braiding and an aromatherapy manicure. The bonus: Prices are beyond reasonable and fuggetabout the valet tip.
This nomadic skin and beauty spa also offers instructional classes and corporate specials. There are massage, hair and skin care classes, as well as fitness training classes and even a personal shopper and wardrobe stylist available. Perhaps the greatest advantage of a location-less spa is that they can provide terrific in-house spa parties – a fave amongst our shower-happy hostesses.
Spa-Go’s is not all spa and no heart. They donate 10 percent of all sales to a charity of the customer’s choice. This means the decadent Anti-Cellulite wrap and Lemon Drop facial are actually not all in vain. No, really. A portion of the price will benefit the Red Cross, Humane Society, LA Foodbank, YMCA, or a guest’s chosen charity.
